If you've been browsing our Pinterest, you've probably noticed a swarm of DIY clocks. We've been a little obsessed. After looking through several projects we thought it would be fun to design our own. Clock Mechanism kits can be a little pricey, so on the hunt for a great deal we designed our very own Ikea clock hack.

We love DIY projects, sanding, staining, drilling and all of those good things. But sometimes it's nice to take a break, go outside, and enjoy the things you've made. Oh and the summer, before it's gone. We took our fire pit, home made marshmallows, some fire wood, some of our favorite types of Theo Chocolate, and some graham Crackers to the beach and enjoyed one of Seattle's spectacular summer evenings at the beach. In case you missed it, Monday August 10th was National S'mores Day. But don't worry, you can make s'mores any day you like!
