2024 stands out as the biggest year yet for Dunn DIY, and we are so excited to celebrate it by sharing a collection of our favorite projects of the year.
If you can believe it, this year Dunn DIY turned 10 years old! That’s a full decade of new projects, tools, and techniques all hand-crafted and honed by the inspiring DIY team and Dunn Lumber employees that make our blog possible. Some of our stand-out achievements in the last 10 years of Dunn DIY include:
- We created over 400 projects and tutorials
- Our videos were viewed 6,338,244 times
- We grew a Facebook community of 8,100 followers
And, in the spirit of reflecting on our victories, we are lucky to welcome a new member to our Dunn DIY team: Max Brynes. We got to know Max and his passion for Pacific Northwest exploration when he completed the Truck Camper Bed with Storage project in 2023. “There’s always something to learn,” Max says. “Seeing how the team comes together to complete a project when things don’t go as planned, learning how everyone can support each other to see a project through––it really gives you a sense of purpose and gratification.” With a clear attention to detail and practicality, Max is making quite the splash on the team, and has just completed another project we look forward to sharing with you soon.

You can accomplish a lot in 10 years, and that’s exactly what the Dunn DIY team has done. As someone who has worked at Dunn Lumber for the past 10 years but not joined the DIY team until recently, I loved taking a walk down memory lane to honor all of Kirsten and Todd’s work on the blog over the years with projects for DIYers of all skill levels.
All eyes on 2025
For Max, the highlight of 2024 has been getting to know the rest of the team and working closely together. As for next year, Max is excited to continue working alongside many more Dunn Lumber employees to showcase their DIY skills and keep the celebration rolling!
In addition to continuing to bring you project plans that can upgrade your day-to-day, there will be some exciting changes to our Dunn DIY and Dunn Solutions blogs in the upcoming year. We’re looking forward to making the blogs more easily accessible to our community by better integrating them into our website, as well as adding more homeowner-focused content to inspire you to make it yours on home improvement projects.
